Roger Wilson takes helm of MEM from Dennis Smith
Former Gov. Roger Wilson started his job as the new CEO of Missouri Employers Mutual today.
Dennis Smith, who directed the effort to establish MEM in Columbia 15 years ago and was the chief executive from the beginning, announced his retirement on Friday.
Wilson also helped bring MEM’s headquarters to Columbia rather than in another location in the state. MEM now is the largest provider of workers compensation insurance in Missouri.
