Brace
Craig Brace has joining Pure Marketing and Media as chief operating officer and as president of Pure Health. Pure Health is a division of Pure that provides marketing, advertising and strategic solutions to hospitals, physicians and healthcare companies.

Megee
Jennifer Megee has joined Providence Bank as vice president and retail banking manager. Her responsibilities include retail banking operations at the four bank locations in Columbia and Lincoln County. Megee has been in the banking industry for 15 years and has extensive experience in customer service, mortgage lending, sales and management.
TimeLine Recruiting, a healthcare recruiting firm, has hired Martin Rodamaker as a marketer. TimeLine’s Marketers work with practices, hospitals and medical facilities across the country to help them recruit and retain physicians for their current and future openings. Rodamaker previously worked at Cerner Corporation in Kansas City.
Scott Hofferber has joined University Physicians as its executive director. University Physicians is the multi-specialty practice of more than 440 doctors affiliated with University of Missouri Health Care. From 1999 to 2009, Hofferber served as chief operating officer of the University of California – San Diego Medical Group.
Promotions

Coriden
Central Trust & Investment Company has promoted Trish Coriden to chief fiduciary officer. With more than 20 years of experience, Coriden will be responsible for all administrative and risk management issues for the company, including administrative policies and procedures, discretionary distribution approvals, account acceptances and resignations, along with compliance and audit issues. Prior to joining the Central Trust team in 2008, Coriden was senior trust officer for Wells Fargo Bank in Wisconsin.
Boone County National Bank has promoted Kerry White to mortgage loan closing coordinator at the downtown bank at 8th Street and Broadway. White has been in financial services for 22 years, 11 of those with BCNB, where she started as a senior teller. She assists the mortgage department by preparing loan closings.
Appointments
Katie Harris has been appointed chair of the City of Columbia’s Commission on Cultural Affairs. The 12-member commission makes recommendations on city funding of arts programs and services. Harris will serve on the executive committee for the next year, along with vice chair Andrea Jira, secretary Addison Myers and immediate past chair Dan Kerner. Harris also serves as the director of communications strategy for Knorr Marketing Communications.
Retirement
After being in business for 23 years, Bill Drummond retired in April and sold the service department of Drummond Mechanical Contractors, Inc. to Air Masters. All current service contracts and the four service employees were transferred to Air Masters.
Awards
The Missouri Broadcasters Association honored KOMU 8 News with five awards along with certificates of merit at its annual awards banquet on June 6. Weathercaster Eric Aldrich won Best Weathercast for mid-Missouri and all other Missouri medium-sized television stations. Anchor Lauren Whitney won Best Feature Reporting for her story on an elementary school class’ quest to raise money to buy Personal Energy Transportation (PET) devices for disabled children in foreign countries. Anchor Sarah Hill and Chief Photographer Scott Schaefer received awards in Best News Series and Best Special Program for stories Hill and Schaefer covered on the Honor Flight program.
Sports reporter Eric Blumberg won Best Sport’s Story for a story about a 51-year-old man living out his dream to play college football. Anchor Jim Riek received the public affairs certificate of merit for his Follow Up Files story on the Unionville Crash.
The Missouri Broadcast Association honored Zimmer Radio Group with 14 awards in such categories as play-by-play, promotions, news, commercials, public service announcements and the Corporate Award for Community Service. Kevin Hilley and Erin Hart received the first place Medium Market Award for DJ of the Year for the KATI-FM morning show “Hilley and Hart.” The judges for these awards came from the New York Broadcasters Association.
