Holman new AmerenUE manager
AmerenUE has promoted Michael Holman from assistant manager to manager of the Missouri Valley Division, which is based in Mexico.
Holman, 50, will supervise about 150 employees covering a 12,000 square-mile area with about 130,000 customers and operation centers in Columbia, Booneville, Moberly, Kirksville and Excelsior Springs. Holman will be overseeing the division’s electric and gas engineering, construction and customer service departments.
Holman will continue to live in Columbia with his wife, Kelley, and their daughters, Amanda and Abby. He has worked in Columbia since 1989 except for short assignments in St. Louis and Cape Girardeau. His first job in the utility industry was district clerk with Missouri Power & Light 27 years ago. Missouri P&L was later acquired by Union Electric Company, which is now AmerenUE.
Homan received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with finance, marketing and communications specializations from Truman State University.
