J Scott Christianson announced today that he’s running for Boone County Presiding Commissioner. Christianson is the owner of Kaleidescope Videoconferencing, president of the Boone County Industrial Development Authority and former chairman of the Democratic Party’s central committee in Boone County.
Christianson and Bondi Wood, co-owner of American Cleaning Systems, are the first two residents to announce they will be filing as candidates for the Democratic primary. The general election is in November, and Presiding Commissioner Ken Pearson is not running for re-election.
Christianson, 41, has owned his business for 11 years and has been involved in the local Democratic Party since 2004. He also teaches management courses in the College of Business at the University of Missouri.
