Alisa Warren to direct Missouri Commission on Human Rights

Alisa Warren has left the University of Missouri-Columbia to work as executive director of the Missouri Commission on Human Rights. The commission is part of the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

"It is my desire to enhance our training of Missouri's working public on topics such as sexual harassment prevention and cultural sensitivity," Warren said.

Warren has lived in Columbia since 1972 and worked at MU during the past five years. Her previous state service included employment with the Office of Administration as Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity. She also served a stint at the Department of Economic Development as Interim Executive Director of the Missouri Community Service Commission.
