Jaffe Lighting closing retail outlet

Jaffe Lighting is closing its retail store at

6265 W. Cunningham Dr.

on March 31, Brian Liberman, co-owner of the company, told CBT on Friday.

Jaffe Lighting, which has three stores in the St. Louis area, opened the
Columbia store in 2003. It has about 4,000 square feet of retail space and an equal amount of warehouse space. One reason for the closing was the lack of traffic at their location, which used to have neighboring retail stores, Liberman said.

Jaffe Lighting will maintain stock at a warehouse in
Columbia and continue to service contractor clients, Liberman said. Two of the three employees will stay with the
Columbia operation, Liberman said.

"Some of our biggest customers say they will stay with us," Liberman said.
